The Story Behind Stable Ground
I'm Angela Martini. In January 2025, after a lifetime of addiction — an alcoholic from the age of thirteen, and thirteen years lost to meth — I was found unresponsive and fell into a coma. I had a do-not-resuscitate order on file — but the hospital had my name wrong, and that mistake is the only reason I'm alive today. I woke up on February 5, 2025, and I have been sober ever since. Addiction took thirteen years of my children's lives. But God wasn't finished with me. He spared me, He changed me, He healed me — and He gave me a purpose. Today I work in reentry, helping men and women rebuild their lives, and I'm building a healing home where women in recovery can find safety, structure, and hope. I share my story loudly so that people who are suffering in silence can borrow hope. If that's you: you are not alone, you are not forgotten, and your story is not over.
